Why Junior Dragbikes?

Because its top fun!

Let me expand a little:
While Drag racing in Britain seems to be steadily on the increase, there are still very few young (under thirty) riders becoming involved in motorcycle drag racing. This cannot be helped by the lack of a youth class from which racers can graduate. Motorcycle Drag Racing is one of the very few motorsports that does not have a form of youth class.
From 2002 the ACU has a junior drag bike class. Having looked at the car classes, and particularly the popularity of the Junior drag race series, it is a natural progression to follow suit with motorcycles.

The objective is to generate more interest and involve youth and families in motorcycle drag racing by introducing a junior class. The structure for which would operate on a similar basis to the tried and tested formulae adopted in both America (cars & bikes) and Europe (cars only).

Smallest Supertwin chairman Rush poses with the smallest dragbike.

Driving force behind the genesis of Junior Dragbikes 'Rush', with his son Jake's CG125 engined bike. Notice that this is not a small engined bike, rather a perfect scaled down version of a regular Top Fuel Supertwin bike. OK, OK, I know it's a single, but who cares when it looks this good.
