2007 is my 5th and final year racing junior bikes. I am taking 2008 out to build a new bike for when I'm 17 and can enter the adult classes. My Dad and I have both decided that I have outgrown the bike; each time we tune it a little over the winter I grow a little and my extra weight cancels out the work we did.
I am looking forward to coming out with my new ride when it is finished, and hope my experience over the previous 5 years will give me a good head start.

Jake Carruthers Dec 2006

Jake has been around bikes from day one, and his first experience of riding was on the tow trike for his Dad's Top Fuel Supertwin.
'Art Attack' wasn't ready in time for the SCR test & tune so Jake's first venture up the track was a bit daunting at the first big race of 2003. Luckily it was a 3 day event so Jake managed to get plenty of track time in. Nerves and crowds forgotten it was time to get on with cutting a good light and being consistent.

Spare time at school is spent explaining the concept of ET racing to his mates, and at lunch time playing on the Turnertech reaction time game.
